Dragons' Nest
We had an inspiring Dragons' Nest event on May 3 as we listened to the business stories of 4 CW Entrepreneurs at different stages of their business development. The evening's mission was to support and nurture CW members as they faced the challenges of either entering the small business world or were at the point of changing directions or broadening their horizons. Our friendly and wise Dragons were wonderfully encouraging panelists and shared many wisdoms with the audience and the entrepreneurs. If you were one of the many participants who also wanted to give suggestions and ideas to them please see below for websites of Dragons and members.
Our superb entrepreneurs were:
Soul Robertson of www.passionateparenting.nl
Julie Jones www.essencetherapeutics.nl
Elske van Holk of www.theenglishtheatre.nl
and Bintou Keita of Sugar & Spices, who is keen to begin a business specializing in High Teas and culinary workshops - email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
Our generous Dragons who gave their advice and a special prize to each of our business women were: Stephanie Ward, Sinead Hewson and Karin van Leersum.
See Stephanie Ward's blog on her website www.fireflycoaching.com and download her free How to attract more clients in less time pdf. Stephanie is extraordinarily clever at spotting potential and identifying niche markets.
Sinead Hewson of www.clientfocusedcoaching.com works with leadership, innovation and creatively. She is remarkably quick at summing up situations and getting businesses on track. Fill in her ' Am I ready for Coaching ' pdf to help you decide.
Karin van Leersum of Lucro Accountancy in Voorburg www.lucro.nl showed us why her business was voted the most client friendly in The Netherlands 2006. She impressed us with her knowledge of funding, tax insights and financial law.
Lastly, do remember that there are many experts out there who can give advice when you need it - and they may be sitting right beside you at the next CW meeting. Simply sharing a challenge with friends, advisors or experts may give you the insight you need.
The CW board wishes you a wonderful spring/summer and hopes to see you at our next CW meeting.

Connect Wine & Dine Evening NEWS!
After four and half very successful years we have decided to close our offshoot group, Connect, Wine and Dine. This is due to the fact that we now have a monthly Borrel, which is proving to be hugely popular and, as a result of which, numbers for CWD have dwindled.
Thank you for your support of Connect, Wine and Dine and we thank Jeanne Heinzer, Jolanda Ammon, Angelika Hummel and Alexandra Hauck for leading this wonderful group.
Connect Read & Discover

Upcoming meeting: Tuesday September 14th 2010 : 8 - 10 pm
We'll discuss: 'The Pollen Room' by Zoe Jenny (Swiss)
